Center for Sustainable Energy
Researchers in the Colleges of Engineering and Agriculture, along with collaborators from many parts of the university, have initiated the Kansas State University Center for Sustainable Energy. The Center, through research and educational efforts, seeks to provide sustainable, renewable energy while maintaining the environment and providing an adequate food supply.
K-State offers significant educational and scientific resources related to the complete cycle of bio-fuels production. Basic and applied research, education, and outreach activities are components of the center.
The Center’s activities include a broad scope of sustainable energy topics including bio-energy, wind energy, energy efficiency, nuclear energy, hydrogen energy, electric power delivery, and solar energy.
