About
This site is tailored to be a place for people to see what's going on with sustainability at K-State. There's a lot of diverse information on this site, a real testament to how diverse the subject of sustainability really is. Take the time to get to know the K-State community and all the good work going on here.
This site is also a place that can help to connect. Interdisciplinary, systemic work is always challenging. So often an individual or group tries to organize something, but they are unaware of others interested in the same thing. One researcher's work could be strengthened by collaborating with another. Students struggle to find the right staff or faculty person to talk to about developing their ideas or interests. By cataloging all of the people and projects that we can, this site can help people to connect in more creative and productive ways. Please take advantage!
Finally, this site will always be a work in progress! It's not complete now, and it never will be as long as K-Staters continue to develop our efforts. Get in touch with Ben Champion to have your information posted or updated on the site, and please contact the leaders of projects, research, or courses that are interesting to you.
Finally, this site is the product of a year of collaborative development by the Office of Mediated Education, ITAC, Ben Champion, and two student assistants. Special credit should be given to Kevin Champion, who devoted much of his remaining months at K-State helping to make this a powerful information management tool. Thanks, Kevin!
If you know of something that should be included or updated, please contact Ben Champion (champion@ksu.edu) so that he can update the site.
